NpTrail Bridge Support Unit
Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) provides technical assistance to the trail bridge programme, at all government levels, through the Trail Bridge Support Unit/ Helvetas.
As per the bilateral agreement signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland in December 2019, TBSU/ Helvetas supports local, provincial and federal governments to:
- Coordinate trail bridge related planning, budgeting, technical, social, financial and managerial activities
- Quality assurance, monitoring and inspection of trail bridges
- Transferring knowledge and competencies to local, provincial and federal institutions
- Developing capacities in the private sector
Technical assistance is provided to all 7 provinces and rural/urban palikas
